Outdoor Learning

Eastmoor Community Garden is a great place to engage children actively in their learning, to encourage healthy life choices – and to make learning fun.

The garden provide opportunities for increasing scientific knowledge and understanding, improving literacy and numeracy and also improving pupils’ confidence, resilience and self-esteem.

We work with schools to develop activities to give pupils a sense of responsibility, and foster positive behaviour, particularly those with behavioural and learning difficulties.

If you’d like to discuss the outdoor learning opportunities available to school or youth groups we’d love to hear from you.
