Eastmoor Community Garden was an overgrown ex-allotment which was brought back to life by a group of like minded local people coming together to create what is now a beautiful community garden space on the outskirts of Wakefield.
Our aim is to develop a beautiful and nurturing green space where local individuals, families and groups have access to opportunities for leisure and education within their own community.
We run a range of activities which includes conservation, training, gardening and outdoor cooking sessions as well as helping several local schools enrich the curriculum with different forms of outdoor learning.
